Rachel insists on sucking on her hands! We often have people tells us that she’s either hungry or teething. We have learned that she actually just likes to suck on hands. Hers or ours! If she’s hungry, she typically lets us know by fussing, not sucking on her hands. We have learned that if she’s rubbing her eyes and sucking on her hands, she’s fighting sleep. We let her suck on her hands for 5-10 minutes, then give her a binky and she goes right to sleep. She has gotten very good at falling asleep on her own for naps and bedtime, and she is also sleeping 8-10 hours every night! Yeah, Rachel!!! (And yeah for Mom!)
