Rachel had her 6-month check-up with a new doctor due to a change of insurance. The dr asked Scott if she was sitting and he, of course, replied that she was, very well. The dr was skeptical and stated that he would be the one to determine how well she was sitting. She sure showed him! Our new pediatrician was quite impressed with Rachel! She is sitting very well, even leaning down to pick up toys, then sitting back up. We are still encouraging tummy time so that we can start crawling, however, she would rather not be on her tummy. Rachel is doing very well with solid foods. She has yet to find a food that she doesn’t like. We still get a confused face when we give her a new food, but she is always willing to eat everything we give her. Exciting news: Rachel got her first two teeth within one week of each other. This was right on schedule for the 6-month teeth! If you look close, you can see the first one on the bottom.
