We have been able to enjoy summer for the last month or so. Rachel has always loved taking a bath and we figured she would also love a pool. I had multiple intentions when it came to buying a pool. First, Rachel was going to need somewhere to play on a hot summer day. Second, I was going to need somewhere to put my feet when I was super pregnant and it was hot. This little pool fit both needs and both of us were delighted!
Rachel, just as expected, loved the pool immediately! Our neighbors came over to say hi just as we were finishing up the first time and she about jumped out of my arms to show them how fun it was. You’ll notice these pictures are mostly of her standing up. For some unknown reason, we cannot get this little girl to sit down in the pool or the bath. She loves to walk around in the water and lean down to splash with her hands.
Scott gave her his hat to help keep the sun out of her eyes, and she thought it was funny to be wearing it. She was not thrilled with the idea of giving it back and going inside when we were done. Hopefully, we’ll be able to spend more time in the pool after Baby Sister arrives!
