During the month of August, it is not uncommon to have storms blow in during the afternoon hours. I took the girls for a walk one morning recently. Rachel was doing so well that I decided in the moment to head to the dollar store nearby to see if they had any kites. Rachel did great! Our total trip was about a mile and she only complained once.
That one complaint was worth all of the fun we had in the wind before the storm! Rachel picked a Kung Fu Panda kite, Alexa an Alex the Lion from Madagascar. They cannot wait for the next time te trees are blowing outside our windows now!
