We had a birthday recently! Our little girl turned 2 and is not so little anymore. She proved this the day after her birthday by opening doors...time to put child-proof knobs on everything again!
Just a couple of days before the birthday, the dear sweet sister was just in such disbelief that we did not have party hats! I thought we could just run to the store and pick some up but the "demand" was that we MAKE party hats! Off we went to the computer to sit down together, secretly, during nap time so that Alexa wouldn't know, to find party hats that we could print and make. Luckily, we found some (http://www.polkadotchair.com/2014/03/printable-pom-pom-polka-dot-party-hats.html/) that were absolutely amazing! They assembled easily & stayed together really well. We are even going to try to hold on to them for the next birthday! Of course, in the end, this little princess ended up with a crown.
