A Halloween Party

Rachel and her bucket list have me feeling like I am Super Mom sometimes. She asked one Saturday at lunch if we could have a Halloween party. I don't know too many people with children yet, so I thought we would just have our own little family party. It counted...CHECK! I had picked up a caramel apple at the store along with some glow sticks previously so it was easy to throw together an impromptu party.

The girls enjoyed the caramel apple to the point that we might try making our own next year! Then we turned off the lights to enjoy their much anticipated bat glow stick wands. They wanted their picture in the dark so they could show their wands!

I thought we would maybe carve the bumpy little pumpkin, but they weren't interested in that this year. They just sit to be displayed and enjoyed whole. Scott was excited to not have to deal with the mess this year. The girls ended the party with a glow in the dark bath, which is one of their absolute favorite things! All in all, Super Mom pulled off a pretty good Halloween party!
