Easter for days...

Easter has always just been one day for us. There's no reason it should be anything different than that. This year, however, it was over a week! We started with an egg hunt at our apartment complex.

We thought they would each get a few eggs...WRONG!!! They came home with almost 80 eggs between the two of them!

They would've been good with just that egg hunt, but we already had more activities planned. The following weekend, we went to our favorite grocery store, Lee's, for the annual Hop down the Bunny Trail. We went for their Halloween event and the girls loved it. I expected about the same for this and they did not disappoint!

Rachel was a little hesitant to go stand by a giant bunny, so Scott ended up in the picture with them. Alexa, however, was awe struck! She walked right up for a hug with a giant smile. She just stood there smiling and hugging the Easter Bunny! We had to turn her around for a picture and her smile didn't change.

We made sure to color eggs for the egg hunt the next day. Rachel seemed to remember doing it last year and really enjoyed herself. She and Scott put the eggs in multiple colors to see what would happen to them.

Alexa was working really hard on getting her eggs in and out of the dye by herself. Their eggs turned out "so beautiful" according to Rachel.

The next day, we hunted our colored eggs, but the Easter Bunny took the rest and hid them at Nan's!

So off we went Sunday to hunt our eggs with the cousins at Nan's!

Rachel really liked the sparkly ones! She would walk by all of the other eggs to find the sparkly eggs. Then, she had an even bigger surprise when she opened them up...she found "coins!"

Alexa found so many eggs we had to dump her basket into a bag so she could fill it with more. It didn't matter where they were, she was going to get it! It was so fun to be with all of the cousins at Nan's this year, especially when Alexa started stealing from Tyson's bucket!

We got to play with this cute boy, too, who was so smiley for Scott!
