New Year brings change

Each year has brought something different for us at church. Going to church at 11:00 with a baby seemed easy. Then we switched to 9:00 with a baby and that was a little more difficult. Then we had two in nursery and life was fabulous! Potty training brought constant trips to the nursery for potty assistance. Moving this summer gave us two children  in two different nurseries: one wanted to go, the other didn't. Now that we are adjusted to our new ward, our time changed to 11:00. Alexa woke up at 6:30 this morning. By 7:15, she had finished breakfast, washed her own face, and was ready for make up before church!

Both girls have been so excited about their new lipstick and hand mirrors Santa brought them in their stockings. Each morning after brushing teeth and several times during the day I catch at least one if not both girls doing their lipstick. Alexa was so proud that she had gotten herself all ready for church and it was only 7:15!

Clearly she had forgotten to do her hair or change her clothes! We had plenty of time though, especially since Rachel was still sound asleep! This year brought some major changes for that sleepy head...she is a sunbeam now! We have been talking about the changes that are coming for their classes for about a month now. Rachel's nursery class has been going into Primary for singing time for some time to help with the transition. She was so ready today!

We didn't get a picture before church, but this is a picture of her after church and lunch with her new paper doll she made! She has played with it all afternoon. The report was that she learned about Jesus and sang songs. Then she was too busy with her paper doll to tell anymore.
