While we were at Lindsay’s house, Brad was able to come down from Rexburg. I was so excited for Rachel to meet Bradley! He wasn’t able to hold Rylie when she was this little because he was on his mission, so it was really special for him, too. Brad got to Lindsay’s on Friday night, but Rachel was asleep. Brad brought his stuff inside, then sat down by Scott to see Rachel. When Scott handed Rachel to Brad, she was sleeping. If you don’t know, babies are very sensitive to smell. Within two minutes of Brad holding Rachel, she woke up because he smells different than we do. He was so careful not to wake her up, but it just didn’t work! She just laid there and looked at him. We didn’t get a picture that night, but made sure we got one later. This was before the blessing on Sunday at Jan’s house…more to come of that soon!
