Someone Else to Meet…

We met so much family on our trip!  It seemed like there was always someone else to meet.  When Rachel had met all the family, there was, of course, someone else to meet.  But who?  Another possible husband!  For those of you that don’t know, Megan and I have been friends since the fifth grade.  We’ve kept in contact over the years and continued to make visits back and forth.  When we planned our trip to Utah, it worked out perfect that Megan was in the process of moving.  She now only lived 20 minutes from Jan and Randy!  After a busy Sunday with both sides of our family, we went to visit Megan and Ryan, and for Rachel to meet Jacob.  Jacob and Rachel are almost exactly one year apart.  We were all so excited that Megan got to meet Rachel when she was still so little.  Living so far apart, I didn’t get to meet Jacob until he was big!  He was already learning to walk while we were there.

No worries...Jacob has his own remote!

We visited late into the evening after Jacob went to bed.  Rachel had been so many places that she was too interested in looking around to go to sleep.  She held true to form and fixated on the ceiling fan though.  Eventually, it was time to leave so we could allow our sleepy little girl to get some rest.  Thanks for letting us come so late!!  We wish we could have stayed longer and can’t wait to see you next time!
